The Window Coverings Association of America has chosen a room done by Maxwell House of Design to be featured in their 2010 national advertising campaign. This full page ad will be featured in several to-the-trade magazines and catalogs, like Drapery and Design Professional, Vision Magazine, and the Rowley Company catalog. The room was chosen because it features a custom layered window treatment and a color scheme that complements the WCAA logo color scheme.

Ava Living Features Maxwell House of Design a Second Time! July 2010

Interior Design Site, www.avaliving.com, has featured a room done by Maxwell House of Design for a second time! The room is featured on the slideshow on their front page as the second slide in. This is a photo of a bold, blue dining room done for a client that wanted her home to have the feeling of being at the beach. She also wanted blue walls and blue we did! Maxwell House of Design has a profile and some room photo's on Ava Living and that they chose our design out of thousands, for a second time, is quite exciting.

Project launched to revamp rec room at Fort Mill Armory May 2010

A torn sofa once sat in the recreation room at the Fort Mill National Guard Armory.
It's gone now. Ditto for a pool table with a broken leg and torn and stained chairs

The room with its battered and dirty furniture is where the now deployed soldiers who make up the 122nd Sapper Company said goodbye to their spouses and kids. While the soldiers are away, a group on volunteers are on a mission of their own.
Workers are swinging hammers. They're cutting sheetrock, updating wiring and hanging lights to create a proper recreation room fit for the families waiting for their soldiers to come home.
That rehab started because a solider/recruiter manning a base had a dream.
"Originally, I just hoped to clean it up," Sgt. First Class Ralph Castle said last week.
